Apple Blossom 2011

April 30-May 1, The IJM Royalty had another fun royalty weekend! They kicked it off with an appearance in the 2011 Apple Blossom Jr Parade. The Jr Parade is open to participants under 15, so IJM was well represented by: Kendall Sadler, Ella Sadler, Deidra Morris, Isabella Mills and Novalee Lewis! The girls looked great in their dresses riding in that super cute car!

After a busy day at the parade, the girls worked together to assemble over 400 crowns for the Apple Blossom Kids Day event. Finally they finished off the day with a YUMMY Mexican dinner!

Miss Jodi and Stephannie were so gracious to accomodate 11 extra queens and their moms for a sleepover! Thanks guys!

Our queens were up bright and early the next morning to set up our booth at Apple Blossom Kids day! The weather was absolutely perfect and we had a great spot for our booth. The queens "crowned" over 400 kids that day and had a blast!

Apple Blossom Kids day also had lots of fun freebies and fun food and our queens had a great time taking it all in. For those that had a long drive home, the last stop was Leavenworth to pick up some of their very own fairy dust, grab a bite to eat and pose for one last picture!

2011 Miss Portland Pajama Pageant

What a fun weekend we had at the 2011 Miss Portland Pajama Pageant!

The contestants came out STRONG with their support and donations of NEW pajamas for children in need. Together the Portland participants donated 575 pairs of NEW pajamas! WOW! That is AMAZING! Thank you to the Portland contestants for  your support! We are so happy that your donations will go to support children in need in the greater Portland Area!

The 2011 IJM Queens had a fun time as the hosts of the 2011 Miss Portland Pajama Pageant and represented IJM well!

After the Pajama pageant International preparations BEGAN! The PNW Delegation is busy preparing for the competition and we are all excited to show our team spirit at Internationals!

2011 IJM Royalty - Off and Running!

March 19-20, 2011

The 2011 IJM Royalty kicked off their year this weekend with a trip to Moses Lake! 2010 IJM Miss Washington Teen Victoria Knight was competing for the Miss Columbia Basin/Miss Eastside title and the royalty was there to support her!

We kicked off the weekend with a welcome dinner at Michael's on the Lake! Michaels is a fabulous restaraunt with an amazing view and beautiful view. Queens joined up for the first time since state and received gift baskets along with Ice Cream Sundaes!

After dinner it was off to the pageant! Victoria's family provided us with LED light sticks so Victoria would know right where we were all cheering for her! The competition was FIERCE and we were proud to cheer her on to her 1st Runner up finish!

Next it was off to Denny's for some after pageant snacks and the pageant mom review of the competition. Then back to our hotel where... lucky for us... the pool was open 24 hours and the girls enjoyed some time in more bonding time over late night swimming!

The following morning we kicked off our year with a royalty mom meeting followed by fun at the local arcade where our 2011 Washington State Jr Princess ELLA SADLER was the BIG winner, winning over 500 tickets on one game! Way to go Ella!

It was a fun weekend with friends and we all agree this years gonna be great! NEXT STOP: Miss Portland Pajama Pageant 2011! Hope you plan to join us!
